The Division of Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Sciences at Medanta - The Medicity Hospital at Gurgaon (National Capital Region) is headed by Dr. Rajiv Parakh who after acquiring the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons in United Kingdom in 1986, trained in Vascular Surgery in United Kingdom & then returned to India to set up one of the first independent Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery in a city hospital in 1990 and was instrumental in starting one of the first recognized teaching & training center in Peripheral Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in North India. He has now moved after 20 years at Ganga Ram Hospital to start the Division of Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular Surgery at Medanta- The Medicity Hospital, Gurgaon as the chairman of the Division.
