Did MBBS and MD (Medicine ) from GSVM Medical College Kanpur and thereafter completed the prestigious DM Gastroenterology course at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2000.He continued to work at the AIIMS as pool officer and research officer and apart from the clinical and endoscopy services there was responsible for running the Liver clinic . He joined Batra Hospital in 2005, and here was entrusted the responsibility to set up a completely new department of Gastroenterology which included a DNB programme & moved to BLK Hospital as Director of gastroenterology in 2012. Here he was responsible for introducing the EUS services as well as the DNB programme. During this entire journey he have published 30 papers, a few of which have been awarded and some have been cited extensively. He have made multiple presentations at various national and international fora, have organised conferences and workshops and have been an invited faculty in them. He fortunate to have a good training in both Hepatology ( Including transplant hepatology) and high end endoscopic procedures like endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP.
